We were appointed by the London Borough of Newham to produce concept designs for the relocation of Newham Boys Boxing Club. We worked closely with the Boxing Club team to develop the optimum layout for the former Victorian school building. The large open plan double height central hall provides a dramatic backdrop to the two boxing rings and viewing deck for spectators. The two single storey wings abutting the central hall provide space for ancillary facilities – boxing bags, changing rooms and office space.
We worked with the main contractor to deliver technical information for the upgrade of the Victorian building.
